Quick post since I REALLY have to get stuff done at work today. I'm having my yearly review tomorrow, so um...time to get stuff done, right?

Yesterday lazyJ told me about a rock band 2 competition that night which he couldn't make since he had hockey. I dragged Tom with me just to go watch, but we ended up egging each other on to the point where we signed up to play. We played Blink 182's All The Small Things, and were in first place! But only because we were the first band to play. We finished 7th out of 9, which isn't bad considering we weren't in costume, had a two player band (I drummed, Tom doubled up on vocals and bass), and um...other excuses. Everyone had to play on expert difficulty, but no-fail mode was on so you couldn't fail out.

The top bands had four players, were in some sort of costume, and had great vocalists. Next competition is in January and we're coming prepared.
