The Allman Brothers Suck

One of the cool things about Rock Band 2 is they issue these "battle of the band" challenges every few days. Each challenge picks a song or songs, the instrument or instruments, and the scoring method. One that was running this weekend was the "Ramblin Basslines" battle where you had to play the Allman Brother's song "Ramblin' Man" and were ranked on the length of your note streak. I've hit 100% on songs before so I figured I had a chance.

So about 25 tries later, I achieved full dorkiness but forgot to take a picture. It looked something like this:

What really sucked was I hit 1003 notes at about the 15th try. 9 notes from the end I got all excited that I was about to make it and missed a damn note. Arrrggh.

The crappy part is I got ranked 390 out of 15,000+ who played. That means there are at least 389 other super dorks out there. The song wasn't that hard, but the 5 and a half minutes seemed to last forever. I think I need to find a chick who appreciates my strumming endurance.
