Sorry for the lack of posts. I've had some things here and there to write about but just no time to actually write them up. I screwed something up at work 1 month ago, however just realized it this week as I was wrapping up my project. Kind of sucks, because the past month's work was all built off a bad starting point. The higher ups will get to hear about my screw up, and chances are they'll go ahead and build the chip since in the cell phone business it's better to build it bad than to build it late. Late equals missing the 2010 holiday shopping season which is a bad thing. It's not a huge problem and it is just a phone, but still it's a little hard to swallow since work wise I'm a bit of a perfectionist.
Oh yea - phones coming out christmas 2010 are going to be AWESOME. They will have NO PROBLEMS and you should buy lots of them. I kid though, because this stuff happens all the time. We're not building defibrillators here, so I guess it's not a big deal.
Hey look at me, rambling when I should be working. I'm surprised this is the first I've procrastinated this week. So, back to the reason I started this post. I watched The Reaping earlier tonight while working, so I'm a little in that post-spooky-movie mode. I'm sitting in the living room where I have a view into the kitchen, when I hear a weird noise as if someone was pushing on the window. I look over, and figure it must just be the wind. But then something else happens. See, I have this fancy/dorky trash can that automatically opens when you hold something in front of it, and it will also open up if you walk by too close to it. About 3 seconds after the weird window noise happened, the same amount of time it would take someone to slowly walk from the window to the trash can....the trash can opened on its own. The only reasonable conclusion is my trash can can see ghosts, and a ghost came into my house because it had something to throw away.
Ok, back to work. My new favorite TV to work to is the high def music video station. They just played Foo Fighter's song Everlong which I haven't seen the video for in forever. I love it when they wake up and the bed turns into a drum set.
You'll have to click through to watch the video to appease their record label.
I have a mandatory work picnic to go to tomorrow. I love social settings where I'm forced to spend time with people I would never hang out with voluntarily.
Someone should come over and take out my ghost trash.
