I haven't posted yet about my super awesome nose surgery yet partly because I'm waiting for some pictures that the girlfriend has. I'll tell you more about the procedure later, but right now it's 10 days post surgery and I'm feeling mostly normal. A few highlights of my recovey:

- I didn't crap for four days after surgery, and then it was like shitting marbles. Apparently my digestive system stays under anesthetia longer than the rest of my body.

- I suprised lazyJ by showing him a prize 4 inch long mucousy blood string I had fished out of my nose. I got overzealous and stretched it to 5 inches which broke it before we could get a picture.

- One of the best parts about using saline nose spray while your inner schnoz is healing is when some of it drips down the back of your throat.

- Last Thursday the doc removed the splints in my nose, which were not the small dime sized things I had pictured but instead 3-4 inches long each. They barely squeezed out my nostrils, so I'm not sure how he got them in without a hammer. Well, maybe he did use a hammer. Who knows. No wonder they felt like they were digging into my brain.

- After the splints were removed he vacumed all the shit out of my nose and sinuses. One of the most exciting moments was when he pulled out a 2 inch blood clot that looked like a leech. It was about that big too, and boy did it feel all tickly when he pulled it out. When I saw what he had fished out, I said "man, that was a good one!" My doc said "yeah it was!" and then we high fived. That 's fucking team work.
