About Us

A legume from down under recently pointed out that we don't have an "About" section. This is true, and I'm sure it discourages plenty of new visitors from sticking around when they can't figure out immediately what we're all about. We did have an "about" section...way back in 2003. I'm not sure exactly how it got lost, but I blame Tom. So to make up for it, here's some "about" info on us.

Greg
Real name: Gregory
Age: 28
Languages spoken: Engrish, a little Mandarin
Profession: Enginerd, future anything else
Movies: Kevin Smith movies, Bring it on, and Stick It.
TV: Any cooking show
Food: Organically grown local produce

lazyJ
Real name: lethargicJ
Age: older than 28
Languages: English (sorta)
Profession: Enginerd, future rock star
Movies: Kevin Smith movies, Bring it on, and Stick It.
TV: VH1 and Comedy Central
Food: Anything mass produced

Tom
Real name: Thomas
Age: Super almost 28
Languages: English, Spanish
Profession: Student, future student.
Movies: Porn
TV: More porn
Food: Yes

So now we're all a big happy family because everyone knows everyone! Here's a little secret - word on the street ?s Tom may start writing again because apparently school gets easier once you hit the 20th grade. Since I like posts with pictures but don't have one that encompasses all this about everyone awesomeness, you get the next best thing. What's that you ask? It's a 3 legged cat and a cat with a mohawk looking all scared of course. Happy Friday.

I was going to say how grateful I am you posted an "About" section... but then I saw the three-legged and mohawked cats and I forgot everything I read about you guys. I give this post lots of love anyway.

Bean is a hottie! Maybe you can get more readers if you add her as a freelancer writer/contributor to flattire.

Oh - thought of another good category - "funniest..." Greg: ...in writing. Tom: ...in real life. lazyJ: ...drunk. We'll have to make some fixes and additions before this becomes a permanent fixture on the sidebar. As for adding writers, I think Beany is a little too high class for our flavor of dick and fart jokes.

Ha ha Flatgreg I am writing in the proper URL back to my site. So now I know what you are about. Cool! Want more readers... here are a couple of suggestions that have helped me. 1.Leave comments on other people's sites. You left one on my site and now I'm here. 2.Get some linkage to other sites going on. Broaden your spectrum of who you read and either A. post an article about them linking to their site or B. add a reads list to your sidebar containing links to blogs. 3. check out cocomment.com to track where you are commenting. It works. You can see it in action on my site down in the sidebar. Cheers guys!

If I hadn't drank so many whiskey sours last night, I would be able to comment. However, I did, so I can't.

My cat found it very amusing (he always reads blogs with me) that you described me as "high class" while I surf the web in my pjs at 11am while drinking milk out of the carton. Then he saw those other cats and now he wants to know if he can get a mohawk too.

awwww, cool...I used to have a 3-legged cat. She had no problems whatsoever getting around and gave birth to probably 25 babies!

Funny how I meant to link this from the main page over a year ago and never did. The three legged cat is mine, the mohawked one isn't. I bet it'd be really funny to shave a cat in a way that made it look like it had a mustache.
