Have you heard of Friendster?? If not, you either live in the dark ages, or you don't have any friends. Flattire is taking time out of it's busy cycle of writing things that aren't funny to make you popular, so listen carefully.

What is friendster you ask? Well it's this web site...with people on it...and you... Ok, it's hard to explain. But it's cool, and you should check it out. It's part networking tool and part popularity contest. You fill out a profile of yourself, and add your friends to it. Your friends do the same. Instantly a network is created of all your immediate friends, their friends, their friends' friends, and so on up to four degrees of seperation. They should've gone to six, but then everyone would know everyone and Kevin Bacon would be one popular guy.

I held out on signing up for a while, but after some pestering from multiple unrelated friends telling me to sign up, I caved in. Since then I've invited other attention seeking internet dorks, and my personal network has grown to over 117,000 people! About 3000 of those live with me in Austin, and 127 are single females between 21 and 28 interested in dating men. Cha-ching! I bet one of them wouldn't mind getting dirty with a goofy looking asian dude like myself.

You can do searches for people based on their proximity to you or on shared interests. It's all free, for now at least. Sometimes the site is dog slow, but they're working on fixing that so be patient or come back later.

According to friendster, I have 17 friends. If you think you're my friend, and aren't on the list, guess what? Yeah that's right - I don't know you so fuck off.

So whip open a web browser, head on over to
www.friendster.com and sign your ass up. Then add me (gjc12@yahoo.com) to your friends list. Barely know me? Or never met me at all? That's ok. Add me anyways, and after that we'll be friends for life. Woo - woo.

What's with all these pictures of scantily clad girls you ask? Well they're all friendster members, just like you will be. I especially like this last picture. If you're on friendster already, add myself and Tom (biggiehoo@yahoo.com) to your friends list. Then we can all be "Flattire Friends" and live happy networked lives.
